A few days before the inaugural cut-off, the MIMO Milano Monza Motor Show program has been unveiled, which from June 16th-19th, will showcase outdoor innovations from more than 40 automotive and motorcycle makes in Piazza Duomo and on the streets of downtown Milano. See all the events HERE.
On June 16th, 2022, at 10 a.m. MIMO will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the MIMO Center, the event's headquarters located in Piazzetta Reale, inside Piazza Duomo, next to the RAIbooth.
The inauguration will mark the beginning of the press day, but the highlight of day one will be at 7 p.m. with the Premiere Parade, the dynamic unveiling of new products and previews presented and led by the presidents and CEOs of the exhibiting makes. For this 2nd edition, the Premiere Parade will be opened by Horacio Pagani in his latest hypercar, who will lead the convoy of managers on a double lap around the Duomo through the celebrating crowd.
The public will be able to see the cars and motorcycles on display in the center of Milano

della Scala will be at the heart of the stationary exhibition, and each platform will have a
QR code that, when scanned, will directly refer visitors to a page on the MIMO website, on
which the public can find all the technical information about the model, images, videos
and any promotions designed by the brand exclusively for MIMO week.
In the Test Drive Area organized in collaboration with Enel X Way in Viale Gadio, adjacent to Castello Sforzesco, open to the public from the 16th to the 19th of June from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., visitors will find the models on offer from manufacturers covering all types of technologies (100 percent electric, hybrid and thermal with low environmental impact) available for a road test. These models will also have a QR code with all the relevant information, which will also be useful for booking a test drive during MIMO or in the future, at their dealership of choice anywhere in Italy.
The 2nd edition of MIMO aims to be a forum in which to delve into important issues dear to the entire automotive sector, and it will do so by inviting the most authoritative speakers to the international conference "Research and Innovation, the Future of Mobility," organized in collaboration with Regione Lombardia, to be held at the Auditorium Testori in Piazza Città di Lombardia in Milano on Friday, June 17th. In addition to an in-depth look at the CO2 thresholds being discussed by the European Union's Environment Commission, during the day, media and insiders will hear three working panels, "The importance of an Italian lobby for the future of the automotive sector," "Integrated mobility between cities and countries, a two-speed Italy," and "What shape will the automobile be in 20 years?" The full program of the conference and the names of the participating speakers will be announced in the coming days.
